We make it a priority to address any copyright infringement committed by our users. Our Terms of Use strictly prohibit the unauthorized sharing of our graphic resources, and failure to comply may result in criminal or civil penalties. When we encounter such instances, we will take legal action and require immediate removal of all infringing content. In situations where we identify copyright infringement, we will contact the offender, if necessary, and inform them of the legal action associated with misuse of our resources.
The following are basic guidelines to follow when using content from Freepixel:
Freepixel grants Active and Deactivated Users a non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable license to use the Graphics and Authorized Tools on its Platform, subject to the terms and conditions specified by Freepixel.
The license to the Graphics may not be transferred or sublicensed to any third party, with the exception of the User’s employer, customer or subcontractor. If individual licenses or subscriptions are purchased on behalf of a client or organization, the Graphics may be used by the client’s or organization’s employees subject to the terms and restrictions set forth in this Agreement.
The user’s subcontractors, including but not limited to publishers, printers and mailing houses, may use the Graphics under the individual licenses and subscriptions to distribute the project for which the Graphics were downloaded and for no other purpose.
When using our resources as a Free User, it is necessary to provide attribution by including the line “Designed by Freepixel” on the final products or designs, regardless of whether they are physical or digital in nature.
A few examples of how you can add the attribution are given below:
Profiles or posts on social networks
It is advisable to include the attribution line “Designed by Freepixel” in the image or in the textual description of the contribution, together with a hyperlink that leads to www.freepixel.com.(except for Instagram, where you can add “Designed by @Freepixel).
Print materials
For printed products such as posters, books, magazines, records, flyers, etc., we recommend placing the credit next to the image you are using. If this is not possible, you can place it anywhere on the printed product you are creating, but it must be visible to the customer/user.
Please add “Graphics from www.freepixel.com.” in the final copy and make sure it is visible.
Newsletters, e-books, websites,blogs
It’s a good idea to place the attribution line next to the Freepixel image you’re using and link it to our website at www.freepixel.com. If it’s not possible to include the attribution alongside the image, you can include it in the footer of your website, blog or newsletter. See the example below for guidance.

Attribution in mobile apps and games
To properly attribute our resources in a mobile app or game, you can include the attribution line in the credits section of your app or game, as well as in the app store or website description where your app or game is published.
Video
If you intend to include our resources in a video, it is mandatory that you include the credit line in the credits segment or at the end of the video. In addition, if the video is publicly available on a website, a link to our website must be included in the description.
It is important that the attribution is clearly visible, easy to find and easy to understand for both your customers and your users.
If you want to use our products without adding the attribution line, you need to purchase one of our Freepixel Premium plans.
“Royalty-free” refers to a type of license commonly used for copyrighted material such as pictures, music, videos, or software. When something is labeled “royalty-free,” it means that the buyer only has to pay a one-time fee to use the material, with no additional fees or royalties owed to the copyright holder for subsequent uses. In other words, the buyer has the right to use the material repeatedly without having to pay for each use. However, it’s important to note that the specific terms of royalty-free licenses can vary by provider and context, so it’s always important to read the license agreement carefully before using the material.
When you purchase a license from Freepixel, there are certain prohibited uses that must be strictly avoided. These include:
1. Using the Freepixel Content in any way that is unlawful, such as in pornographic or defamatory works.
2. Using the content for purposes that promote violence or encourage hatred.
3. Use the Content in a manner that violates any applicable laws.
